1. Who we are

AnyAV hires out audio-visual gear and helps with live streaming and event production around Hamilton and the wider Waikato. This website is here so you can see what we offer and get in touch for a quote.

2. Information we collect

2.1 What you send us

  • Name, email, phone, and whatever you type into a contact or hire form
  • Anything you email or tell us over the phone

2.2 What the site picks up automatically

  • Basic device and browser details, rough location from IP, pages viewed, and how you found the site
  • Cookies (and similar bits of tech) for the site to work, and for analytics and ads measurement

2.3 Advertising and analytics tools

We use a handful of standard tools so we know if our advertising is actually bringing enquiries in:

  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Ads conversion / remarketing tags
  • Microsoft Advertising (Bing) UET

Those companies have their own privacy policies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, and Google has ad settings if you want to limit personalised ads.

3. How we use information

  • To answer enquiries and put quotes together
  • To keep the website working and improve it
  • To see how paid ads and organic traffic perform
  • To meet legal and accounting requirements when we need to

4. Internal tools and Google / Microsoft APIs

We use an internal helper tool (u201cHermesu201d) for day-to-day reporting. Only AnyAV staff use it. It may connect to:

  • Google Ads performance data for accounts we own
  • Google Analytics (GA4) for anyav.co.nz
  • Microsoft Advertising reports for accounts we own
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets) only when one of us has signed in for normal business work

Sign-in is through proper OAuth / platform logins u2014 we are not asking website visitors for those credentials. We do not sell this data, and we do not run a public product that reaches into other businessesu2019 Google Ads accounts. More about that on our How we advertise page.

5. Who we share information with

Only when it helps us run the business, for example:

  • Hosting, email, analytics, and advertising providers (Google, Microsoft, our web host, and similar)
  • Accountants, advisers, or authorities if the law requires it

We do not sell personal information.

6. How long we keep things

Enquiry and booking records stick around as long as we need them for the job, for accounts, or if there is a dispute. Analytics data follows whatever retention the platform is set to.

7. Security

We take reasonable care u2014 limited access to business systems, normal password and login hygiene. Nothing online is perfectly safe, but we do not leave the door open on purpose.
